15 George Washington Blakeman, b. 4 Jun 1840, Cayuga Co., NY, d. 12 Mar 1922, Hillsdale Co., MI; m. 4 Mar 1861 to Hanna J. Loveless, of Weedsport, NY, b. 4 Mar 1838, NY, d. 20 Mar 1901, Hillsdale Co., MI. They are both buried in the East Hill Cemetery, Osseo, Hillsdale Co., MI. Their stones only read "Father" and "Mother". They move to Hillsdale Co. around 1868, owning a farm in Jefferson Twp., Hillsdale Co., MI. In the 1894 Atlas, they are shown as having 70 acres in sections 5 and 8 to the west of Osseo boardering the north side of Lake Pleasant. They spent the rest of their lives there except for one year that was spent in Kansas. After the death of Hanna, George married two more times. His third wife died six year before he did. George was living with his daughter Rosa (Mrs. Burton Payne) in Adams Twp. in 1910. George and Hanna had two children.

Nettie is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Newfield, NY. Edson was a Civil War Veteran. Edson, age 18, enlisted 16 Sep 1861 as a private in Co. B of the 75th NY Infantry. He spent time in a Confederate Prison at Camp Ford, Texas. Edson and Cordelia moved to Michigan around 1868. They owned a 40 acre farm in Section 10 (1894 Atlas) to the east of Osseo, Jefferson Twp., Hillsdale Co., MI.

In 1894, Sidney was living with George W. Blakeman (his cousin?) and in 1900 he was living with his daughter Emma (Mrs. George Sloan).

They are close together and look like these four children may have died young and maybe around the same time. None of the stones have dates on them.
